Have you ever visited a country where the culture and beauty is so inspiring you just knew you had to do something creative to honor it? Well, that is how I felt after visiting Thailand with my one-of-a-kind amazing boyfriend. He happens to be Thai, so this was a trip that opened me up to where his parents came from and would surround me with the heritage they hold so dear. What better way for me to express how much I loved Thailand than with photography. I collaborated with Occasion 9, and we wanted to create an elegant and timeless look that focused on the quintessential elements of gold and silver and the lush landscape that is Thailand, but being careful not to create something themed or over done. My good friend is an event and all things coordinator who happens to have an amazing rooftop in Brooklyn that overlooks the Manhattan skyline. We shot at sunset in the warm breeze and the result is beautiful soft, elegant Thailand. Our model is wearing a dress that I purchased while in Bangkok, and I have to say, when I found it, I knew exactly what I would use it for. This styled shoot could not have been done with out the hard work of an incredible group of people.
