I traveled all the way to one of the most beautiful Islands in the world to capture this wedding. It was full of love; so much, that the good vibes stayed with me long after my journey back home to New York. Let me start from the very beginning. I had the honor of capturing this couple’s surprise marriage proposal during their trip to New York. It was a foggy summer morning in Central Park and Margrét had no idea that she was going to have the surprise of her life! I captured it all as it unfolded and they are some of my favorite photos to this day. Some time went by and Margrét & Oddor reached out to me and asked if I could please come to their home town in Reykjavik, Iceland to photograph their wedding. Of course I was thrilled and honored and said yes! Photographing this wedding was a dream for me. This couple could not have been sweeter and I am so happy to say that I have friends in Iceland now and I can’t wait to go back and visit! I hope you enjoy some of the photos from the day. The wedding reception was held at a historic grass-roofed building called the Viking House. It was incredible!
